- Lat stretch at top; contraction at the bottom — tension never drops to zero.
- Progression
- Use thicker band; transition to cable pulldown for measurable load.
- Regression
- Seated banded row if the kneeling setup is uncomfortable.
Watch for
- Anchor too low — removes the vertical pull mechanics
- Pulling with arms only — elbows must drive, not hands
- Releasing tension at the bottom — keep the band taut
